United Democratic Alliance Party Secretary general Cleopas Malala has revealed the plan that the party had for the Nyanza region. This is the party associated with with the President William Ruto. He had already started going for the lawmaker's and will now seek to extend to the grass roots to get member's from there. But because this is a Raila stronghold, it might not be a walk in the park and that's why Malal says they are planning well for the drive.
As the secretary-general who took over last week, he says that they intend to register 250, 000 people from Raila's backyard. The member's will be drawn from each of the four counties of Migori, Kisumu, Siaya and Homabay. Registration he says will begin in Kisumu this weekend, now today.
Malal adds that they intend to register people from every polling station in Nyanza and will even go door to door in bid to hit their target. Then the icing on the cake is the incentives plan which he says they will use so as to have more member's. Incentive's is just a small motivation to see someone accept an offer. It might be in form of money or goods. Malala spoke in an interview with the Daily Nation.
