Americans are now happy after the latest development in which the US President Joe Biden signed into law a bill granting federal protections to same sex marriage. According to Biden, he pointed out that the move is to foster equality for everyone to stand out boldly in their beliefs hence there was need to accommodate everyone in the society.
"America takes a vital step towards equality for liberty and justice, not just for some but for everyone......Love is love, Right is right. Justice is justice," Biden said during the signing ceremony on Tuesday afternoon at White House.
Biden administration has taken a strong stance in support of LGBTQ rights notably towards the transgender community whose push for greater rights has become a US political flashpoint.

LGBTQ advocate Cyndi Lauper is over the moon over Biden's latest move as she was pleased by the fact that the concerns of many American families have been eased with the new law.
"We can rest easy tonight because our families are validated and because now we are allowed to love who we love," She said.
