With the amount of money he spends on campaigning to get Kenyans to vote for him in the next fourth general elections, which will take place in August of this year, Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Arap Ruto has surprised many. Many have questioned his swift climb to stardom because he calls himself a hustler. His involvement in dishonest scandals at the same time has frequently been proven.
However, DP William Ruto has a close ally on his side. According to Citizen TV Kenya, Josphat Nanok, the outgoing governor of Turkana County, has stepped up to address the issue of how DP William Ruto finances his campaigns. Governor Josphat Nanok said that supporters are giving to DP William Ruto's presidential campaign, despite his inability to name them. Governor Nanok is merely attempting to play it safe given that everything in Kenya is political and that the majority of people are aware of DP William Ruto's sources of income and how he acquired it.
