Kakamega County governor Fernandes Barasa on Sunday, 4th December 2022 met president William Ruto at the state House Nairobi.

The Orange Democratic Movement party governor was accompanied by Kakamega County senator Boni Khalwale and Malava constituency member of Parliament Hon Malulu Ijendi. Also present at the meeting was Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
The meeting was to plan on president Ruto's scheduled working tour of the Kakamega County this week.
The Governor took to his official social media pages to share the photos from his meeting with the head of state and his deputy.
"Accompanied by Senator Bonny Khalwale and Malava Member of Parliament Hon Malulu Injendi, we met President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua at State House, Nairobi ahead of the President's working visit to Kakamega County this week." He posted on his official Facebook page.
