William Kabogo seems to be the most popular candidate in Kiambu in the race for governor as the latest polls put him ahead of the rest. William Gitau has been placed at 35.1% ahead of UDA candidate Senator Kimani Wamatangi. Kabogo is vying on a Tujibebe Party ticket that is under Kenya Kwanza.
Wamatangi is vying on UDA having defeated the likes of Wainaina Jungle in the by-election.Governor James Nyoro who is the incumbent is placed third at 18.5% He is vying on a Jubilee party ticket having taken over from Baba Yao when he was impeached.
Patrick Wainaina Jungle comes fourth with 14.4%. He is vying on an independent ticket after having lost in the UDA by-election. Moses Kuria of Chama Cha Kazi is fifth with 5% The rest are undecided with Safina's Mwende Gatabaki not being polled.
Kabogo has been on the headlines in recent times claiming that they are not getting the treatment they deserve in Kenya Kwanza.
