Fresh Twist as Aden Duale Alleges How IEBC Split Might Not Affect Dp Ruto as The President Elect

Hon. Aden Duale, the recently elected Member of Parliament for the Town of Garrisa, has responded after four independent electoral and Boundaries commissions declared that irregularities, particularly during the final stages of voting, tainted the results of the presidential election.

The former National Assembly majority leader stated in social media that William Ruto is unaffected by the decision of the four IEBC commissioners to withhold from announcing the results of the presidential election.

Dually stated that the IEBC chairperson is the sole person mandated by the Constitution in Article 138(10)(a) to declare the victor of the presidential election after 7 days.

He added that the actions of the four commissioners are not justified by the law. This is in response to the four commissioners' disavowal of the election results and assertion that the final process was opaque.

IEBC chairman Wаfula Chebukati stated that some commissioners had received notifications while others had not during the announcement of the results. He did, however, announce the country's presidential election.
