The COTU boss, Hon Francis Atwoli, was among the senior leaders that joined former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga and the Azimio team in Kwale County today for a major presidential event attended by tens of thousands of supporters who decided to back Raila's presidency.

Hon. Atwoli addressed the jitters that candidates seeking to deputize former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga are experiencing, saying that everything has been put in place and the issue has been resolved.
The crowd erupted in applause after he stated that the issue of the running mate will not cause Kalonzo or Hon. Martha Karua to leave the Azimio coalition, emphasizing that the leader who will deputize Odinga will represent the interests of all Kenyans, not just those who have been in politics for a long time.
He stated that Azimio will not follow the Kenya Kwanza coalition's criteria for assigning posts to its principles, but rather will work to transform the status of our country.
