The deputy president William Ruto and his team of Kenya Kwanza today toured in Meru county where they addressed leaders at Kenya Methodist University. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the main agenda of the meeting of was about the economic model which ha been affected by covid-19 pandemic.
Despite that, the meeting was attended by several members of parliament who agreed to work with Ruto and his team ahead of the next general election. The leaders who accompanied Ruto includes Hon John Mutunga, Hon Mithika Linturi, Hon Moses Kirimi from central Imenti, Hon John Mutunga, Hon Kubai Iringo, Hon Mugambi Rindikiri, among other leaders. The deputy president William Ruto on his speech said that, Kenya kwanza team will be focusing on the local products so that to promote small traders in the country.
" Kenya Kwanza will pursue economic diplomacy to secure markets for our farm produce. We will go beyond the commodity market and our produce as brands for our pesa mfukoni dream to be met," Ruto said.
