President William Samoei Ruto is set to attend homecoming party of the ICT cabinet secretary Eliud Owalo in Siaya county, Nyanza which will be held on 14th January this year at his rural home in Rarieda. This will be his first visit after a long period of time.
CS Owalo's party will give President William Ruto a chance to tour Siaya county which is that home of his political competitor Raila Amollo Odinga.
Owalo has erected billboards welcoming President Ruto to the stated event this weekend .
" Based on the foregoing and informed by a contextual analysis of all the probable 2022 Presidential candidates, I have with effect from today made a deliberate and conscious decision to stand with Kenyans by pursuing my political interests and aspirations within the ambit of the hustler political matrix," Owalo said.
The ICT cabinet secretary was sworn in after his nomination was rubber stumped by the national Assembly committee.
