Narok Gubernatorial aspirant on UDA ticket Patrick Ole Ntutu has picked a 29-year-old engineer Mathew Kipkurui as his running mate.
According to reports, Kipkuru who comes from the Emurua Dikir constituency in Narok South was picked by selected panelists through a competitive interview.
While lauding the process, the former CS said the selection process was free and fair. He said the youthful running mate will act as an inspiration to other youths in Narok and give them hope for inclusive leadership.
"It is good news to the young generation who probably have not been given a chance to lead again. I will walk with the Engineer through this campaign season and I believe we are the winning team" stated Ole Ntutu.
While urging Narok residents to consider voting for them, Ntutu said Narok is a cosmopolitan county and that his leadership will bring all communities on board.
Kipkurui has since accepted the appointment and thanked Ole Ntutu together with UDA leadership for remembering the youth.
"The youth across the country should be rest assured that they will be well represented in all areas. I will be a strong advocate for the rights of youth regardless of their background" said Kipkurui.
The two are expected to face off with ODM's Moitalel who is also seeking to succeed the incumbent Governor Samuel Tunai.
