Kirinyaga county gurbernatorial certificate was issued to honourable Ann Waiguru after defeating her closest counterpart Purity Ngirici. However, the margin between the two leaders was so small hence showing that the competition was stiff. This has therefore raised much concerns in Kirinyaga county as honourable Purity Ngirici with her supporters claim that the elections were rigged.
However from the reports have indicated that Purity Ngirici is not satisfied with Waiguru's win as she claimed that the elections rigging cases were witnessed in Kirinyaga county. Purity Ngirici who emerged the second in the race has decided to report her allegations in court for justice.
Purity Ngirici believes that she won in the race with a wide margin and nobody expected her lose. She therefore urged her supporters to remain peaceful and calm as she proceeds to court to seek justice.
In addition Ngirici condemned the act of unfairness from IEBC as she expressed her mistrust to the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission officials.
