Deputy president William Ruto hosted governors and senior government officials at his official residence in Karen for consultative meeting. The consultative meeting was the 15th ordinary session of the inter- governmental budget and economic council.
The meeting was attended by several governors and senior government officials led by devolution cabinet secretary Charles Keter. Governors present included Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago, Governor Anne Waiguru, Governor Nderitu Muriithi among other governors.
After his meeting the deputy president William Ruto headed direct to Narok county for a series of political engagements. The chopper carrying the deputy president landed at Olopito in Narok county. The second in command was warmly welcomed by UDA allied leaders from Narok county led by nominated legislator David Sankok. He is also accompanied by Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa, Garissa Town legislator Aden Duale and Mathira legislator Rigathi Gachagua.
