Tanzanian minister incharge of law and constitution doctor Mwigulu Nchemba has ordered the responsible bodies to take action against all those causing panic by spreading false information about other people's health.
Doctor Mwigulu used his official instagram page to explain that while the Tanzanian nation is mourning the loss of its leaders, there are those who were quick to link death of leaders to a certain illness which according to him is lacking humanity which subsequently affects the life of the victim and causes panic to his or her family.
He has ordered the responsible bodies to take action before an individual person launches a formal complain. He went ahead to reveal chapter 16 of the communications act clearly prohibits one from spreading false information about another person.
Mwigulu was at a loss to understand why the said persons are so busy updating others about other people's health. "Nani amekupa Kazi ya kufuatilia afya za wengine na kuwa msemaji wao? (who gave you the work of supervising other people's health and updating others) he posed.
