President Museveni Finally Request Kenyans For Forgiveness On Behalf Of His Son

After a heated debate between Kenyans and Ugandans over Muhoozi's Twitter outburst, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni finally requests for forgiveness from Kenyans. This comes after Museveni's Son, Muhoozi, made controversial strings of tweets that seemingly didn't settle well with Kenyans.

"I ask our Kenyan brothers and sisters to forgive us for the tweets sent by General Muhoozi, former commander of land forces here, regarding the election matters of that great country. It is not correct for public officers, be they civilians or military, to comment or interfere in any way, in the internal affairs of brother countries," President Museveni noted.

The Ugandan president has noted that he has made a phone call to president William Ruto and the two have discussed the deplomatic issues. On the other hand, president Museveni has defended his decision of promoting his son to the highest army ranks in Uganda. Museveni added that his son Muhoozi has made significant positive contributions to Uganda despite of his late tweet mistakes.

Meanwhile, what's your opinion on Museveni's speech seeking for forgiveness from Kenyans. Kindly leave a comment behind and share the post.
