DP Ruto Assures Uhuru That Raila And Him Will Not Split The Country After 2022 Polls On Mashujaa Day

Deputy President William Ruto has called upon President Uhuru Kenyatta, thanking him for the good leadership he has subjected Kenyans too, for the last nine years he has been leading Kenyans amid the duos alleged feud.

While addressing the residents of Kirinyaga and Kenyans during the Mashujaa Day fete, the second in command called upon the appreciation of the soldiers at the border, with him he said, have been doing everything possible to ensure that Kenya is well secured.

DP Ruto also extended his celebration to the great farmers, saying that they have been doing everything to ensure that Kenyans do not miss frequent provision of food thus terming them heroes and heroines.

The DP assured President Uhuru that when his term comes to an end, he will ensure together with his chief competitor, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga that the country is not divided amid the current splitting political temperatures that have taken the center stage.

“Your excellency, I want to give you the assurance on behalf of my competitors… I assure you that as your deputy for the last nine years, I will make sure that the unity you have set for this nation is upheld… the bottom-up approach will take over the leadership as your term comes to an end,”

“Today, we celebrate your excellency for the exemplary leadership you have given us for the last nine years,” said DP Ruto.

The second in command was celebrated upon his stand to welcome the head of state, President Uhuru, by the residents of Kirinyaga who were in attended at the Wang`uru International Stadium on their first debut of such a function.
