The political period is ending at a very high note. Various elective positions are being clinched by respective leaders who emerged to win in the stiff competition.
The Kakamega County senatorial race had various candidates. The race seemed to be tough between Dr Boni Khalwale for United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and Dr Brian Lishenga for Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party. However, the ballot voting has clearly projected the winner.
Dr Boni Khalwale has won the senate seat of Kakamega County and his opponent Dr Brian Lishenga has accepted the outcome which is much appreciated for any politician to accept the results after tallying process is done.
Consequently, Boni Khalwale has tweeted a special coded message to Dr Brian Lishenga after he received his call congratulating him for the lead. Boni Khalwale also added that he is humbles by Lishenga's extraordinary call.
"Dr Brian Lishenga, my principal competitor to the Kakamega 2022 senatorial election, has rang me and congratulated me for commanding an insurmountable lead in the race. Am profusely humbled by this extraordinary call and i thank him" Boni Khalwale tweeted.
Indeed Lishenga is among the few politicians who need to be emulated. Share and follow bus for more political updates.
