
Makueni Governor Prof. Kivutha Kibwana has dropped his presidential bid in favor of Azimio La Umoja Chief Leader Rt.Raila Odinga.
During the consultative meeting that was held today 17th at Naivasha the Governor's said that they have vowed to support Raila Odinga because he is the father of devolution and he will protect it if he wins the presidential bid.
"I consulted my people in Makueni, they gave me the go-ahead to support Azimio La Umoja. They told me that I have age on my side and will resume presidential ambitions in future," said Kivutha Kibwana.
More than 30 governors have moved to Raila's side Azimio La Umoja and all have vowed to support him during August polls. Azimio La Umoja Chief Leader has so far brought many governors inside his party. Kivutha Kibwana has entered Azimio La Umoja and dropped his presidential bid. UDA has less interest in governors as compared to Azimio La Umoja.
