Ruto's visit comes a few days after he was on Tuesday endorsed by the UDA delegates as the party's presidential nominee setting the stage for a major face-off with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

UDA party legitimate representative Edward Muriu said Kiambu pioneers among them Moses Kuria will lead the DP during the visit.
Previously Moses Kuria has blazoned that he'll look for the Kiambu gubernatorial seat and accordingly, the visit is expected to help his possibilities.
Muriu said the DP has coordinated a progression of campaign trails in the Mount area considering he has support each over the district.
"Deputy President has a progression of occasions in Mount Kenya district, on Monday, he'll be expected to go to Chama Cha Kazi public representatives' gathering at Bomas of Kenya," Muriu said.
