President Uhuru Kenyatta is retiring next year after completing his two year term as per the Kenyan constitution.His second term has been very rough in the Jubilee party after his deputy William Ruto bolting out of the party.Currently,the party is facing challenges with some members wanting Raphael Tuju to leave the party.

Even before the actual serious presidential contenders are known from Mount Kenya region,former President Mwai Kibaki's eldest son Jimmy Kibaki is out to give it a try.Jimmy is said to have got his father's blessings to replace Uhuru next year.This may bring more reactions.He is expected to run on The New Democrats Party as revealed by Billionaire Thuo Mathenge who is the party's national chairman.
Pressure is mounting on ODM leader Raila Odinga from a section of Mount Kenya MPs to chose Peter Kenneth as his running mate.This is spearheaded by Mathioya MP Peter Kimari.With Limuru3 declaration looming,a lot will change.
