Deputy President William Ruto and his allies from Mount Kenya region, led by Martha Karua, Mwangi Kiunjuri and Martha Karua, continues to lock heads, over DP Ruto's calls to fold their parties and join UDA ahead of 2022 general elections.
According to DP Ruto, some small parties like many in Mount Kenya, are tribal based and that there is need,to form a national party like UDA, which reflects every aspect and part of the country.
And now Martha Karua, the Narc Kenya leader, has fired at DP Ruto over his calls to fold parties and join UDA.
Speaking at the funeral event of Mwangi Kiunjuri's nephew, Martha said that DP Ruto is so wrong on calling for disbandment of fringe parties.
She also said that they are not ready to fold their parties as they do not want to go back to single-partyism like in 1970-1992.
It will be waited to be seen if DP Ruto will eventually accept coalitions with fringe parties like Chama Cha Kazi of Moses Kuria,Narc Kenya of Martha Karua ,TSP of Mwangi Kiunjuri and many others.
