The Election body IEBC has refuted claims that their system was hacked by unknown persons and leaked personal information of registered voters from the system. This coming only hours after the Directorate of Criminal Investigation nabbed a university student and claimed that he had hacked the IEBC system and did away with voter’s vital information.
This now bringing sharp division in the two bodies over who is saying the truth in regards to the matter. The nation is now being left in a fix over who might be lying and who is telling the truth. According to DCI close to 500 discards that were unused were recovered from the hackers who are expected to be presented before courts this coming week.
In the coming days, the two parties will be forced to explain to Kenyans who among the two bodies are telling the truth. IEBC has issued a statement which is attached below. Kindly follow the writer for more updates.
