According to Ian, it is his father's threat to shutdown counties that proved successful in breaking the deadlock in sharing of the national cake.

An excited Ian took to Facebook, specifically hitting out at Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr, Ford-Kenya leader Moses Wetangula, Kipchumba Murkomen and Cleophas Malala who had yesterday slammed Oparanya's decision.

"These senators called Oparanya names, mara prefect, mara boys club, mara should account for covid-19 funds, mara impeachment...after calling Oparanya names they still came to an agreement," he said.

Ian added: "It took governor Oparanya the hard decision to shut down counties for them to know their jobs; toothless dogs."

Ian, an alumnus of Bradford University now wants the Senate house done away with.

"BBI should remove senate, (the) national assembly is enough, we can't have boys in senate who are always upto supremacy battles instead of knowing what they were elected for," he opined.
