Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition political party leader Raila Odinga ignited a crowd that was listening to him during Anti-Ruto campaign in Migori after he responded to Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki and coined a new song in which President William Ruto was mentioned.
Raila, who insisted that he will lead a mass action against the William Ruto government until the day Ruto and his team will decide to act accordingly, hit out at CS Kindiki for allegedly warning those who will take part in the Anti-Ruto protests.
The seasoned opposition chief said that Kindiki said remember that they have come a long way, warning the Cabinet Secretary that he should not allow himself to be used by the Ruto-led government to deny the people they constitutional rights.
"Nataka kuambia bwana Kindiki. Kindiki,tumetoka mbali, husitumiwe vibaya (I want to tell Mr. Kindiki. Kindiki we have come from far, do not be misused.)," Raila said.
He said that despite the alleged threats, he will not bow down to any kind of pressure. Raila said that he will not give up on his resolve to ensure that Kenyans are treated to a better life that deserve by Ruto's government irrespective of any harsh treated he will reserve from the government.
"Sisi tunajua hayo mambo yote. Vitisho tunajua lakini tulisema ata Nini ifanyike sitarudi nyumba (We know all those things. We know the threats but we have said that despite what happens, we will not give)," Raila said.
He also encouraged his supporters never, coining a song that sent the crowd wild as they joined him in the song that goes;
"Nipigwe teke, sitarudi nyuma. Nipigwe pingo sitarudi nyuma. Niwekwe jela... Ata Ruto aseme sisi haturudi nyuma (Even if am kicked at the back, I will not give up. Even if am chained...Even if am jailed.. Even if Ruto say we will not give up)," Raila sung with the help of the overwhelmed supporters.
