Political tension has gained momentum as politicians run campaigns in various functions out here to prepare the way for the major August elections. This comes just a day after UDA nominations which were held the other day causing chaos. However, while some politicians appear to be in bad terms with Ruto since that day, some have continued praising Ruto for supporting them.
This is exactly what happened today during the function where Wesley Kogo was being laid to rest in Nandi hills. He was buried in a function which was attended by several aspiring UDA colleague leaders. During the speech session, one of the women stood up and splashed DP Ruto with praises.

The young beautiful female aspirant said that she is very ready to walk with DP Ruto even in hard times because he also helped her. She wished the deceased family all the best in future despite having lost their source of hope in a sad way.
