Today, Musalia Mudavadi is expected to launch his presidential bid on the Amani National Congress during the national delegates conference scheduled to take place today at the Bomas of Kenya.

Speculations are high as it has emerged that the deputy president Dr William Ruto who has also declared his presidential bid on United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party is set to be represented by three close allies.

According to the latest tweet from Elgeyo Marakwet senator Hon Kipchumba Murkomen, Kandara member of parliament Hon. Alice Wahome, Westlands MP aspirant and former LSK president Nelson Havi and Kipchumba are set to be present at the Bomas of Kenya this afternoon.

In conclusion, this comes after Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala has hinted that today's event is also to give ANC boss Musalia Mudavadi mandate to look for more friends ahead of the August 9th general elections.
