Big Blow to President Uhuru As a Section of Leaders Led by Murungi Could Dump Jubilee

The Jubilee party has been rocked with wrangles lately, with the ruling party being on the verge of collapsing, few months after vanquishing Dp Ruto and his allies from the party.

And now as per NTV Kenya, Mount Kenya East leaders have spoken of abandoning Jubilee Party, as the 2022 elections near.

The leaders led by Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi argued that they want to have more bargaining power in 2022.

Imenti North MP Rahim Dawood said that their interests will only be captured if they form their political party.

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi on his part, said that they are still waiting for the best opportunity so that they could see how the Mount Kenya East interests are taken care of in the next general elections.

Should the leaders move out of Jubilee, it will be a big blow to President Uhuru's bargaining power and influence in the 2022 elections.

It will be now be waited to be seen if the leaders will leave the now troubled ruling part.
