Deputy President William Ruto has arrived at Windorsor Hotel, for the IEBC meeting with Presidential candidates.
He arrived just as Azimio la Umoja One, Kenya's presidential candidate Raila Odinga, and his colleague Martha Karua were out to attend their campaign talks.
George Roack Party president George Wajackoyah has also left.
In a letter asking for presidential candidates to attend the meeting, the IEBC stated that they could be accompanied by a five-person delegation.
Raila is currently represented by Makau Mutua, Paul Mwangi, Caroline Karugu, Saitabao ole Kanchory, and George Njoroge.
Ruto did not appear at the start of the meeting.
However, she was represented by Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok and UDA Secretary General Veronica Maina.
IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati last week convened a meeting to address issues raised by some potential candidates.
However, big reason has emerged revealing why DP Ruto decided to arrive for the IEBC meeting for presidential candidates. According to report, Ruto decided to appear because of respecting the call of IEBC officials.
