President William Ruto on Tuesday 27th September 2022 convinced his first cabinet meeting with the outgoing cabinet secretaries.
Among those who met with him today at State House are his former critics during the campaign period. Cabinet Secretaries including Fred Matiangi, Joe Mucheru, and Peter Munya were campaigning against him.

Nandi County Senator honorable Samson Cherargei has reacted to it saying that William Ruto is now their boss.
Cherargei in his statement said that the people who campaigned against William Ruto are now under him.
"President Ruto is chairing his first cabinet meeting. Interestingly, Munya, Tobiko, Mucheru, and Tobiko are attending. The man they campaigned against him is their boss," Cherargei said.
