When the first covid-19 case was recorded in the country the government put in place various measures to curb the spread of Corona Virus such as partial lockdowns, closure of schools, reduction in the number of people using the public transport vehicles and a ban on public gatherings.
After the country successfully fought the battle against the invisible enemy the government decided to relax the measures by reducing the Curfew hours and allowing the safe re-opening of schools, churches, bars and restaurants.
Yesterday the ministry of health announced that Kenya recorded 1,463 new cases and 26 death from Corona virus.
" Out of these 3 have occurred in the last 24 hours while 23 are late death reports from facility record audits that occurred on diverse dates. This now pushes our cumulative fatalities to 2,092," the statement from the ministry of health indicated.
Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo in a message posted on twitter said that a total lockdown is eminent and posted the traditional medicine keeping him strong that is: Onions, ginger, oranges, Garlic and honey.
"A total lockdown is eminent, the 3rd wave of covid-19 is deadly. Like I always say keep steaming, burn the damn thing," Kabogo said
