Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Hon. Babu Owino had accused a section of UDA Politicians of planning to tarnish his name ahead of August General Elections. The upcoming Elections has seen each incumbent politician struggling to retain his respective Political seat.
Embakasi East is a fiercely contested political seat as both ODM MP Aspirant, Babu Owino and UDA MP Aspirant, Francis Mureithi are determined to win it. Jacaranda grounds which is in Embakasi East recently witnessed violence after a section of Hon. Babu Owino supporters clashed with UDA supporters over the rightful person to hold a rally in the venue.
UDA MP Aspirant, Francis was injured during the violence with UDA Politicians condemning the act. Babu Owino through his Official tweeter account has now accused a section of UDA Party Members led by his competitor, Francis Mureithi of planning to cause violence in his constituency then blaming him.
Babu Owino has shared a WhatsApp chart which be believes is from UDA Party Members on plans to reduce his popularity in the region. In the charts, Oscar Sudi is allegedly seen urging UDA MP Aspirant for Emabakasi East, Francis Mureithi to hire a section of youths wearing Azimio T-shirts to chase women from the market is that Babu Owino can be seen as the bad person.
Even though Babu Owino hasn't confirmed the claims, Kenyans a re eagerly waiting for Investigations to be concluded by DCI and DPP to complete their investigations.
