Just in: DP Ruto, Raila to Arrive at Bomas Anytime From Now, More Details Revealed

IEBC has requested the first three rows of two terraces be freed for presidential candidates and their families.

This means Ruto, Odinga, Wajackoyah, and Mwaure will be at Bomas soon.

Wafula Chebukati, chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), was to announce Monday's presidential election results. Before the final announcement, security was heightened at the Bomas of Kenya and other key venues in Nairobi and the country.

By 7 a.m. Monday, 263 of 291 constituencies had been certified. Chebukati may reveal the results on Monday if verification is completed on time, commission insiders say.

Chebukati has said, "I will only announce the findings throughout the day," thus this choice depends on time.

The Supreme Court determined in 2017 that the validation process must be completed before the final announcement.

Kenyans voted six days ago, and tallying is now complete. Journalists have provided updates on what is happening at Bomas of Kenya, and citizens are restless because they want to know who will be the fifth president.
