Former presidential candidate Mwalimu Abduba Dida, has defended Embakasi East constituency member of Parliament Hon Babu Owino against attacks by his Homabay town counterpart Peter Opondo Kaluma.
Opondo had hit out at the youthful lawmaker over the documentary aired by a local Television channel detailing how former prime minister Raila Odinga lost in the August General Elections.

He poured cold water on the documentary arguing that Babu and Kanchory can not be relied on to give informations.
However, while reacting to this, Mwalimu Dida told off Kaluma arguing that Babu is better than him since he vied for a seat in Nairobi county and defended it, something that Only Raila achieved.
"Respectfully Mheshimiwa, @HEBabuOwino has achieved what only @RailaOdinga achieved. Winning in Nairobi and retaining that seat is not easy." He said.
"Try vying in Embakasi East and compare then let Babu go for your seat in Homa Bay. Politically, Babu is considered your senior." He challenged the vocal lawmaker.
