Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has hit out at the Nation Newspaper for allegedly writing n headline on "Failed Promises by President William Ruto".
Speaking in Nyandarua County today, Gachagua claimed that the Nation Newspaper has been supporting the Azimio wing and thus the reason for such headline.
He claimed that towards the 2022 election, the Nation Newspaper supported the Azimio wing and ran fake narratives about the Kenya Kwanza wing but Kenyans decided to vote for the Kenya Kwanza wing.
He listed a number of promises that the president made during his campaign and have achieved after just 8 months in office.

13. President promised to be a democrat and the president has kept the promise of giving Kenyans their political freedom.
14. Ruto promised to continue engaging Kenyans one on one - today, he has visited over 36 counties since his election.
