The United Democratic Movement Party was one of the political parties that made an agreement to join the Azimio One Kenya Alliance Coalition before the August general polls and its supremacy in North Eastern region is continuing to grow and become very influential considering the upcoming Garissa Township Parliamentary contest after CS Hon Aden Duale made his resignation.
The UDM party Candidate in the upcoming election Hon.Nassir Dolal was warmly received in the region as mammoth crowd attended his campaign event as he eyes to succeed the former area MP Hon. Aden Duale who is currently serving in the Ministry of Defense.
The vocal leader was also welcomed with chants and cheers as he remained optimistic that he will win the spot because of the people from the region who believes in his leadership. He was accompanied by several leaders in the region as he urged the people to remain calm.
