Today i will take you through why it is very significant for women to clinch top political roles for the nation.
When women become leaders, they bring skills, different perspectives, and structural and cultural differences which ultimately drive effective solutions to an organization occupied by men. With different perspectives and a sense of awareness, women can investigate finer details to see what is going on underneath. Moreover, women in leadership increase effectiveness, more transparency, more attention and an atmosphere in which everyone has a chance to be a leader. Women can also be a great mentor, one who can guide you and provide honest, real-time and practical advice.
Samia Suluhu is a Tanzanian politician who is serving as the sixth and current President of Tanzania. She is a member of the ruling social Democrat Chama Cha Mapinduzi party. She is the third female head of government of an East African Community and the first female President of Tanzania. Her Excellency took office after the death of President John Pombe Magufuli. In Kenya, we have our own women who can be one of the best Presidents if given a chance. On my own opinion, Martha Wangari Karua can best fit. She was a member of the opposition political movements that successfully agitated for the reintroduction of multiparty democracy in Kenya. Martha Karua is an advocate of social justice and a former long-lasting member of Parliament in Kenya. She has been consistently fighting for the protection of women's rights and improvement to the Democratic process. She can be one of the best nation leaders not only in Kenya but in Africa too.
