Cate Waruguru said that mount Kenya unity should be purposeful and not aiming at fighting anybody. She said so during a burial ceremony in Nyeri that was attended by Martha Karua and Kanini Kega. Her information seemed to target the two leaders who were present. Martha Karua, Moses Kuria, William Kabogo, Mwangi Kiunjuri and other leaders have been championing for the unity of mt Kenya demanding for coalition with UDA. Care Waruguri told them to stop engaging UDA and fight for their posititions if they believe in democracy.
However, as soon as she posted her video recorded at the burial, Care received hostile reactions from Kenyans. Some told her that she is not trusted when it comes to politics as she has been shifting positions as long as it favours him.
