Provisional Presidential Results As At 6:55pm Shows A Closing Gap Between Raila And Ruto

Nation Africa reports that ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy president William Ruto have begun closing the gap in the ongoing test of the 2022 presidential election results.

Ruto led with 50.20% of the vote, followed by Raila Odinga with his 49.13% of the vote, according to information obtained by the IEBC's public site at 6:59 p.m.

Root Party Professor George Wajakoya came in third after him with 0.45% of the vote. Agano David Mwaure's party was in fourth place with 0.23% of the vote.

Streaming of the 2022 presidential election is nearly complete, but IEBC Chairman Chebkati has revealed that the results will not be made public until the commission has approved all of his 46,000 34A forms.

It is worth noting that every attempt is made to complete this process as quickly as possible. Wafula Chebukati's law requires the IEBC to confirm a presidential election within seven days of him.
