The Building Bridges Initiative Bill process of making some amendments to the 2010 constitution was halted by the High Court as it was deemed unconstitutional.

However today, the hearing of the appeal made at the Supreme Court commenced with several lawyers and judges taking part in the motion to determine whether the Bill will go through.

Kenyans.co.ke news podcast conducted an opinion poll in which they asked Kenyans on whether they expect the Bill to go through successfully or not.
67% of the Kenyans who took part in the poll are not expecting the Supreme Court hearing of the BBI to go through successfully, but 33% of the voters agreed that they are hopeful that it will be successful.
