"Thank you my brother Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka for the request," the MP wrote on his Facebook page.

Ruto's visit comes following the MP's remarks about his non-alignment with the UDA party. Kuria who said he was still a member of Ruto's 'hasla' movement had opposed the dissolution of other parties for the benefit of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

The Labor Party leader was outraged by some UDA politicians who were denigrating other parties affiliated with the party. In a fit of rage, Kuria wondered why the Ruto-affiliated party claimed that other parties had been formed on the basis of ethnicity even though they had not yet won another seat outside Mt Kenya.May be an image of 1 person, standing, hospital and indoor

His remarks were echoed by former Minister of Agriculture Mwangi Kiunjuri and Karua who formed a coalition that claimed to be planning to submit to the wishes of the people of Mt Kenya after Uhuru stepped down in 2022.
