It's a fact the deputy president William Ruto has been at the forefront warning bodyguards against pushing his supporters away from him. That was demonstrated today in Kiambaa where bodyguards freely allowed people to meet with the second in command.
Here is a video link:https://youtu.be/wOKhlxyCM70
The video clip saw people freely meeting the deputy president William Ruto a confirmation that the area strongly believes in Ruto as opposed to any other leader. It's clear Raila Odinga has been trying to get into Mt Kenya region but slowly that has not worked out.
Facts as stubborn as they might be, its clear Ruto seems a strong force in the Mt Kenya region. The people seem to appreciate him and his political moves as opposed to Raila Odinga given he mingles with the people directly just like it happened today in Kiambaa.
It's clear the chances of William Ruto winning the support of Mt Kenya region is something that has been seen over time. Facts as they are, it's clear it would be extremely difficult to dismiss him politically given his massive inroads in the mountain.
