As we approach 2022 general election,political leaders have been on forefront to come up with the right political party that will help them to come 2022.Coastal region is among many regions in Kenya that had shown interest in forming regional party.Few weeks ago coastal leaders held a indoor meeting where they had agreed to come up with party.According to them,coastal region support to have a bargaining power.The leaders reached on a consensus but reliable sources said that they ended up with different solutions.
Orange Democratic Movement member who is also Mombasa governor has made a major move leaving his allies in a limbo.According to him he has revealed that he will not leave the mother party that helped him to gain his popularity.Joho has already shown interest in contesting for the top seat using the ODM ticket.
Joho said“I have submitted my nomination papers to ODM party and I expects that if I win in the nominations, the entire ODM brigade, including party leader Raila Odinga, will support my candidature".
