Yesterday the former Prime minister Raila Odinga defended a section of his political allies who visited the suspended Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission commissioners in Yaya centre during presidential verification at Bomas.
From the reliable sources, Odinga said that his political allies were protesting against the IEBC's chairman results and therefore them visiting Yaya centre was just to know the truth behind the same.
Last week during the hearing of commissioner Irene Masit there was a revelation that former secretary general of KANU and Raphael Tuju visited the suspended commissioners at Yaya centre. This happened shortly after Cherera termed the presidential election as opaque.
After the suspension of the four IEBC commissioners only Irene Masit have not written a resignation letter to IEBC. Irene is awaiting the continuation of her hearing in January led by Aggrey Muchelule.
Raila also said that Chebukati favored Ruto in the last poll.
What is your take on this?
