The family, close friends and the Nyeri County fraternity are mourning together with current Deputy Governor Carol Karugu for the loss of her dear mother.
According to reliable reports, Mrs Jacinta Wanjiku, mother of Nyeri County Deputy governor has passed on today after ailing for a long while now.
The reports claim that the deceased was receiving medical care at some hospital, but she unfortunately passed on.
Nyeri Deputy Governor Carol Karugu took to her Facebook page where she noted down a touching and emotional message which stated:
"It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden transition of our mother and best friend. We are distraught and shuttered but comforted by the words of Deuteronomy 31:8.
Eternal rest grant unto Mom oh lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her."
May her soul rest in eternal peace, and God console them.
