The presidential campaigns have hit a fever pitch as the frontrunners traverse the nation in search of support to bolster their chances in the forthcoming elections.
Deputy president William Ruto has today rallied Marsabit county to popularize Kenya Kwanza agendas. Ruto was in the company of Kello Harsama, Steve Lenarokushu, Aden Duale, Naomi Waqo, Ali Rasso, Kindiki Kithure, Ndindi Nyoro, among other leaders.
According to reports, Ruto alleged that Marsabit governor Mohamud Ali was backing both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza bid.
However, Governor Mahamud has changed tune denying Ruto's claims as misleading. He fired at Ruto warning him not ride on his name.
Governor Mohamud asked Marsabit residents to back Raila Odinga and Martha Karua. He is defending his seat under UDM party which is under Azimio One Kenya Coalition party.
Raila on the other hand rallied Kiambu county to counter attack Kenya Kwanza influence. Azimio allies alleged a plan by their competitors to manipulate the election results where Raila insisted the use of manual register.
