Only hours after meeting Kamba leaders in a meeting that was well attended by leaders and opinion shapers from the region, Ruto has once again shaken Kalonzo’s backyard of Makueni with thousands of area residents turning up in large numbers to get to hear from the UDA leader who has today pitched camp in the area.
From the video he shared online to his followers, Ruto revealed that the meeting was to campaign for his 2022 bid and give a blueprint of what he is expected to do once he takes over power from Uhuru in the next general election.
Ruto has continued to raid some of his opponent’s backyards. Recently he received a heroic welcome in Kiambu the hometown of President Uhuru Kenyatta whose second term in office is coming to an end in a few months. Ruto is seeking to take over from Uhuru once his second term comes to an end.
