President Uhuru Cancels his Planned Two Day Ukambani Tour As Fresh Details Emerge

On Monday Resident Ihury Kenyata has canceled his planned two days tours to the Ukambani region as fresh details emerge on what has prompted the Head of State to make such a move.

In a report via the Nation, it has been established that the much anticipated President Uhuru's two-day tour to the Ukambani region has been canceled over the Covid-19 fears.

"PRESIDENT UHURU Kenyatta cancels planned two-day tour of Ukambani region, cites fears the visit may trigger a spread of Covid-19," read the report from the Nation.

After the reports, Kenyans have also reacted issuing contentious reactions over the Head of State's move with some questioning the state on why President Uhuru visited the Nyanza region despite the Covid-19 rise, while others alleging that it is a plan to call off his alleged Rift Valley region tour. Below are some of the reactions;

Brian: If Uhuru told me it's raining outside, I'd insist on looking to see for myself even though I can hear the raindrops beating against the roof. Such is his trust deficit with me. That's why I don't bother listening to him. Of course, you're free to listen to him - & believe.

Sammy: Did he think about that before going to spread the same in Kisumu and parts of western Kenya?

Kamau: Meanwhile our Luo brothers get the ICU... woii our Luo brothers. They should call it the Great Kenyatta massacre round 2.
