Kenya is a Democratic country ruled by law in form of the written constitition of 2010, it is a democratic right of each and every Kenyan citizen to take part in election leaders of their choice thus for that reason, Kenya is going to conduct general elections come next year on 09.08.2022.
According to the constitution, a president is only eligible to reign for 10 years after which he would not run for an elective seat in the same position, this gives the reason why president Uhuru Kenyatta is serving his last term in office and next year we expect an president.
The majority of Kenyans who vote for a specific presidential for instance Raila Odinga, are the ones that deliver victory, therefore politics is a game of numbers.
According to the last national census in Kenya held on 2019, the Kenyan population stands at above 45 million, the counties of Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Kakamega, Bungoma, Meru, Kilifi, Machakos, Mombasa, Kisii, Uasin Gishu, Kitui, Murang'a, Narok, Kajiado, Kisumu, Homabay and Migori have a population of more than one million implying that they will play a major role in determining the next president of Kenya.
