President William Samoea Ruto appointed the former Meru senator honorable Mithika Linturi among his cabinet. He was appointed as the incoming cabinet secretary of Agriculture. This move has raised eyebrows among the Azimio leaders.
Kalonzo Musyoka faulted Mithika Linturi as he alleges that he is unfit for the office. Well, he comes to the Meru leaders with a powerful warning to Kalonzo Musyoka, the leaders have requested him to concentrate on being the opposition leader. The leaders have also alleged that President Ruto appointed his cabinet because they will make sure his manifesto is delivered to Kenyans.

Meanwhile, Mithika Linturi will replace the former CS for Agriculture honorable Peter Munya. All who were appointed are waiting to be vetted by the legislatures. Peter Munya is among the CSs who were supporting the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Honorable Raila Odinga.
