Several political betrayals are expected to be witnessed in the coming days as top leaders are expected to ditch their current parties for other parties on grounds that the popular side usually wins the polls.
Kirinyaga County Governor and President Uhuru Kenyatta's loyal supporter, Hon Anne Waiguru has opened up that she is headed towards joining Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance party.
The reports claim that Governor Anne Waiguru believes that Deputy President William Ruto is the King of Mt Kenya because of the popularity he is gaining ahead of the 2022 General elections.
"Why would I contest on a party which is not popular where in my county?" Anne Waiguru stated.
In the interview she was at, Anne Waiguru revealed that she is ready to battle with other interested politicians in UDA like Ngirici who is a strong allie of Ruto as she believes that she will easily jolt them out.
This will be a major blow to President Uhuru Kenyatta as he will be losing one of his loyal supporters.
