Over thirty county assemblies have already passed the BBI report and looks like the BBI ship is already sailing over the ocean.Through his twitter account,Junet Mohammed has released a press statement from the BBI team.The BBI team stated their happiness for the passing of the BBI report at county level.
They first went one to thank the MCAs for working with them and passing the BBI bill.They stated that the MCAs have sealed their spot on the right side of history for endorsing a process that seeks to take this country to greater heights.They stated that the BBI was born of an effort to promote inclusivity and advance patriotism.They also acknowledged the Kenyans for participating in giving their views.
The BBI team went on and urged the Senate and National Assembly to ignore any propaganda and emulate the MCAs in amplifying the voice of the people.They also asked the judiciary to read the mood of the people and also support the BBI.They went on and stated that the victory of BBI at the county level should be celebrated by every Kenyan and not only the ones who supported it.
